Musa Bordelon is a very beautiful banana. This variety was discovered in the Louisiana town of Bordelonville. Bordelons leaves will remind you of the Blood Banana as this large ornamental's foliage has maroon splotches on the top side of it's leaves and even more maroon on the bottom side of it's leaves. This banana also grows taller so it has more impact.
Bordelon will grow to 9-14' tall. When this banana flowers, it will produce fruit a non-edible fruit.
