Jiro Japanese Persimmon Tree Overview


The Jiro Fuyu Japanese Persimmon tree bears a large,
flat, seedless, orange fruit. The fruits are sweet and mild
tasting and are similar to Giant Fuyu but has larger, flatter
fruits. There is no puckering when eating the Oriental
persimmons as they are non-astringent.

Jiro is a handsome ornamental and performs best in full
sun with well drained, slightly acidic soil. Jiro can grow
up to 15' tall.

Ships in pot during the growing season. Ships dormant/bareroot during the winter months
